Celebrating 30 Years of Design, Craft, and Creative Excellence
This year, we are proud to collaborate with Rooms With a View, New England’s premier annual interior design event, as it celebrates its 30th Anniversary. Founded in 1995 by the legendary Albert Hadley, Rooms With a View has become one of the most respected and imaginative showcases in the world of interior design.
Every November, the event brings together 12 visionary designers, each challenged to create a fully styled vignette—lovingly called “rooms”—within a compact 6’ x 8’ x 8’ space. Though small in size, each room radiates an expansive visual presence, crafted to awe, inspire, and spark creativity.

A Legacy of Creativity in a Historic Setting
Rooms With a View takes place in the library and great hall of the historic Southport Congregational Church in Southport, Connecticut. The Gothic Revival stone architecture adds depth, character, and heritage to the experience, making it the perfect backdrop for the designers’ imaginative installations.
StudioGrain’s Presence at Rooms With a View
Our collaboration highlighted the beauty of handcrafted Himalayan teak wood furniture within thoughtfully styled spaces created by the participating designers.
The event showcased how StudioGrain pieces seamlessly complement:

It allowed the natural grain, texture, and craftsmanship of our furniture to shine—proving that thoughtful, sustainable materials elevate even the smallest of spaces.Paired with the creativity of the designers, the collaboration demonstrated how handcrafted furniture can shape the mood and story of a room—even within a 6’ x 8’ space.
Looking Ahead
